WILLIAM ABERNATHY

WILLIAM ABERNATHY

William is a Ponte Vedra native who was introduced to the autism community at an early age. William has been passionate about supporting the cause since he was in middle school when his god brother, Marston,  was diagnosed with autism. He experienced first hand how autism effects not just one member but the entire family.

William graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 2013 with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Out of college he worked in the oil industry all over the world, including but not limited to Abu Dhabi, Russia and Texas. He returned to Jacksonville in 2016 and is now working as a Senior Project Manager for a commercial LED lighting company.

In his spare time, William enjoys fishing, grilling out and spending time outdoors with friends. He is committed to TEAM HEAL and continues his passionate involvement as often as possible.
